Therapeutic Soft Contact Lenses

Cantor & Nissel SCL high water content hand painted lenses may be used to cosmetically mask a wide variety of eye defects. Available in diameters of up to 22 mm and a wide range of base curves, they may be made with occlusive black pupils or clear pupils with virtually any prescription including torics.

Lenses may be stabilized to allow the iris to be offset on the lens and with the scleral portion painted and veined they can be used to cover a strabismic eye.

SCL lenses have been used around the world for twenty years and the special effect lenses have featured in many major movies including ‘Wolf’, ‘Interview with the Vampire’, ‘X-Men’, and ‘Valkyrie’.
